Facetime doesn't stop screen sleeping

After updating to Sierra, the screen will now go to sleep during a FaceTime call. The timings of this are in line with the settings in the Power Saver section of settings, but I can't see any options to keep the screen alive during a call.

I'm sure this didn't happen before the update (from El Capitan) so if anyone know why this has changed, and more usefully how to stop it happening, I'd be vey grateful.

I know how important it is to be sure facetime and the computer are working together correctly. Checking the settings are a good place to start. What you might want to try next are some specific restarts. Check out this article to Try safe mode if your Mac doesn’t finish starting up . Hello ... I had the same issue and resolved it by resetting SMC. I hope it works for you. Here is the link: Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

In the explanations on the website you can see that managing "sleep" is part of the SMC and resetting can be recommended.
