When I plug my camera into my computer, iphotos always uploaded them to my computer. Recently it said that I needed my storage for icloud so I added it from the free 5 GB to 50 GB. Now it still isn't recognizing my camera and I can't find my photos. When I open the icon for photos it says "closing the library" and it wasn't even opened. Getting frustrated that I can't find my photos. pLease help. njf

You do not have iPhoto for Mac where you posted but Photos for Mac - I will request your post be moved to the correct forum

And it sounds like Photos is hung - restart your mac (force quit Photos if necessary to do the restart) and try again - now that you have enough storage you probably will be ok after a restart
