Did you solve the problem?

If you are having kernel panics, no matter how much you think yours is identical to this post, there is a very good chance it is different.

I suggest you start a new post (see the 'Post' button at the top of this page), and post a copy of a few of the most recent panic reports in the new thread. If your operating system is not El Capitan, please use the correct operating specific forum for your new post.

You can find your panic reports via

Kernel Panic reports: Finder -> Go -> Go to Folder -> /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

<http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2546>

<http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT200553>

The panic report should have "panic" in the file name.

Also as a reply to your new post in the correct operating system forum, please

post the EtreCheck output as a "Reply" to this thread

<https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6174> or <https://etrecheck.com>

Use the EtreCheck "Share" button to "Copy to clipboard" (See the image below)

User uploaded file

If, AND ONLY IF, you get the error:

"The message contains invalid characters"

then try posting to PasteBin.com, and give us a PasteBin URL link.

<http://pastebin.com/>

.

EtreCheck is a tool that helps Apple Support Community volunteers debug problems without any access to the troubled computers. Debugging problems can be a difficult task even when the machine is in front of you. Attempting it via a discussion forum is extremely difficult. EtreCheck is a great help that regards.

Hi slackmoehrle!

I see that you're experiencing a kernel panic on your Mac. I know it's important to have your Mac working right, and I'm happy to offer some help. The following article gives extensive instructions on what to do when you see a kernel panic:

OS X: When your computer spontaneously restarts or displays "Your computer restarted because of a problem."

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Cheers!

You don't have any third-party kernel extensions installed, and it doesn't appear you have any attached devices, so that leaves an internal hardware fault, or some obscure bug in the kernel or a kernel extension (the latter being extremely rare).

The panic call is happening in the driver for non-apple SSDs, but you don't have an SSD at all. It may control other nonvolatile memory things, though.

The first things to try before taking it into an Apple Store are:

1) Reset NVRAM (note that this is coincidental to the panic call--It is always a suggestion in this situation). How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

2) Boot into Recovery and repair the drive using First Aid in Disk Utility. About OS X Recovery - Apple Support
