Q: I cannot organize my photo library.

I moved everything from iPhoto and now all the dates are the same (except my last few additions).  For example 1920 and all in between are mixed with 2016. 

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

    How did you made the move? If you exported the whole collection with cmd+shift+E you have exported a copy of your original files. Only if you set the export options on "original file" you became a copy 1:1 of the original file with metadata.  Can you describe your "moving action".
