mail password settings not showing

I upgraded to Sierra earlier this week. Today when I changed the password on one of my e-mail accounts I went to the normal mail>perferences>accounts and there is no "password" setting available anymore. I also checked mail>accounts and there is nothing showing there to set the password. As an aside, my IMAP servers are not showing anywhere - only two SMTP servers. Seems to me like something has changed there and I don't know what. Will try to find info on the Sierra FAQs pages but hoping someone can direct me to the correct location. Also checked System Preferences to no avail. Any suggestions?

I noticed the same thing. However, after changing my Yahoo password (because of the reported hack) I also noticed that the password change “flowed through” to my Mac and iPhone email without any action on my part. I didn’t have to do a thing. It may have to do with iCloud keychain being enabled.

Thanks - the only thing showing on that tab is the "outgoing mail account" drop down. This appears to only happen on the Yahoo! and iCloud accounts. Is that a keychain "hidden feature" in Sierra that isn't explained on the Support website? Just thinking out loud (kind of).
