phpMyAdmin setup problems

Hi,

I am having some problems getting phpmyadmin to start.

I moved the phpmyadmin folder into /library/websever/documents

I followed the instructions for making a config folder, editing the example config, setting access for it and putting it back in the phpmyadmin folder.

Typing http://localhost/phpmyadmin gives me a URL not found error.

If I enter http://localhost/test.php (setup to display phpinfo) it correctly displays my configuration, so I know php is doing it's thing.

I also tried the scripts/setup.php with similar results.

I'm sure there is some simple thing I'm missing. Just don't see it.

Have you tried http://localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php?

Yes, tried that with the same result. I even tried to just open them as file which, of course, just gave me page source.

Perhaps you don't have "index.php" listed in your
DirectoryIndex directive in your httpd.conf file?

Not sure how that works. I looked at the file, but there doesn't seem to be anything there like that. For example, I don't see index.html there for some of the sites I host.
