Q: I can't add phone number to iMessages on my desktop

I'm getting messages from people on my phone that also used to show up on iMessages on my desktop, and I now see that I can only choose to add email addresses to iMessages on my desktop. Is there a way to add phone numbers? I used to be able to do this and now that is missing, and I get ALOT of messages to my phone number.

    Hi,

Check on the iPhone that the Send and Receive for Messages shows the actual telephone number as active.

Check that the iPhone and Mac are using the same Apple ID and that they are marked Active.

Try logging (Sign Out) of the Apple ID on the iPhone  and then waiting for a few minutes before adding it back.

This should trigger the pop ups on the Mac to accept so that the Mac is aware of the iPhone Number (again).
