Q: Is it possible to sync memories/people between iOS and my Sierra Macbook?

So when iOS 10 came out I spent quite a lot of time sorting through faces and creating memories, only to find that upon upgrading to Sierra on my MBP, those faces and memories didn't seem to sync. Now it doesn't make any sense that you'd have to recreate memories and re-sort faces on different devices.

Is it possible to sync memories and people across iOS/Sierra? And if so, how so?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), macOS Sierra (10.12), iPhone 7 with 10.0.1, iCloud

Nothing about this is clear yet

It seems clear that there is no sync of people between Macs or between the Mac and IOS - the Photos documentation says that people do sync between IOD devices but I'm not yet seeing that

Memories seem to be the same on two Macs and three IOD devices but I've not spend a lot of time looking into that - and They appear to show up very quickly after a new set up which implies a sync - my iPHone 7 arrives tomorrow wo I will get one more chance to watch this process happen

At least let apple know what you want - it helps the future - http://www.apple.com/feedback/
