I received an Hermes Cuff (Series "0") as a gift and would like to get a newer watch (Series 2). However, I'd like to just buy a standard watch; is there any way to transfer their unique watch faces? I was able to try a backup/restore to another watch, but it didn't carry over.

I’m sure it probably says it somewhere in the licensing agreement when you purchase the Hermes Apple watch, but that doesn’t make it right. The face is software which should mean I bought the rights to the software and can port it to a newer version of any Apple Watch. Apple, I love you, but I am highly disappointed in Apple on this one. I very much have a need for the functionality on the new Apple Watch series 3, but I’ll be sticking with my series 1 until Apple and Hermes allow their face to transfer across next gen series/devices.

Afraid not, Hermes faces are specific to the Apple Hermes Watches.
