"Songs" not alphabetical

You can use the various column headings in the songs views to choose a different sort order. Album by Artist is probably the most conventional view. Click the heading for Name if you want song name order. With playlists you can also choose a manual order (the left most column of numbers in the songs layout) and then drag items up or down the list to suit.
