    Greetings, r01240sx!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! Apparently iMessages has determined that it doesn't want to play well with others. It won't go to Landscape Mode when you want after upgrading your iPhone 6s Plus to iOS 10. I'll be glad to help you with this.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch -- I always recommend backing up a device whenever troubleshooting. It's always better to "have" a backup than to "need" one.

iPhone User Guide: Reset iPhone -- On your phone, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This will restore your personalized settings to factory default.

    Have a great weekend!

    Hi

    Almost the same "issue".

I've Iphone SE with the latest IOS 10.0.2.

When I run iMessage and touch the message line to keyboard to appear, if I :

    1) rotate clockwise, keyboard expands and icons "Done" or "keyboard " are insensitive

    2) rotate clockwise, the screen goes black for a 1-2 sec (occurs randomly)

    3) rotate anti-clockwise everything works perfectly

This will not "help" solving the problem, but just shows that you are not the only one.....and the hardware is not damaged (Hope, valid for you and me )

Thank you! Has Apple stated that this is a known issue ?
