Mac OS X
Q: I Have Temporarily Solved My Safari Problem!
Since no word is forthcoming from Apple and most of the troubleshooting solutions entail wasting more time than I have wasted so far, and the Sierra installation broke the Java functionality of Adobe's Dreamweaver, I just made Firefox my default browser.
And I will downgrade the Java installation placed on my MacBook Pro by Sierra.
Apple could show a little consideration to the need for users to actually do work on their machines and properly test their software with standard applications people use to get work done.
MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12), iPad Air, iPhone 6, and iOS 10
