Question

my screen freezes a lot since i updated to ios 10

So when i bought my iPod 6th gen everything was okay until updated to IOS 10 and the screen freezes a lot since then, it comes back to normal like in an hour or so, but it is really annoying when the screen turns black

Hey josefromwatsonville,

If I understand correctly, you updated the iPod to iOS 10 and now it freezes and goes to a black screen. It sounds like the iPod has needed to be restarted already if it goes black and then comes back to life.
There are a few things we can do to try and get it to stop doing that. I would recommend you read these articles, they may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

In order to keep your data safe you should create a backup of the iPod in iTunes or in iCloud.

Once the data is backed up we can reset the iPod to factory settings and see if the issue persists. If at that point the issue is resolved we can try to restore the backed up data.
