Keep getting error when trying to install Itunes with windows 10
this is the error code error HRESULT 0x80073715
also I get error 2 windows error 2
any ideas why I cant install iTunes?
this is on my windows 10 not ipad

If you are using Windows 10, either 32 or 64 bits and iTunes 12.5.5.5, just download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) at:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29
And install it prior to install iTunes.
It did solved my problem.

Windows 10 (Creators Edition) I tried for 1 week to install Itunes after upgrading to the new Windows 10 with all the different methods of installation and trickery I found on the Internet but to no avail. What did it for me was to run Ccleaner registry cleaner and it fixed the installation problem. You have to scan and clean the registry a few times until it finds no more problems. I did try other registry cleaners but only CCleaner worked. I am not endorsing this product but tried it as a last resort as others also said it worked. I am passing this on to you as I am sure you are all just as frustrated with Itunes as I am (was) and hope it works for you as well.
Try the advice in Re: Need help installing iTunes v12.4.3.1 Windows 10. The error message apparently relates to the C++ library.

Try install iTunes ( for older video card), it worked for me.
