holy cow, i cant believe i'm not the only one w/ this issue!! i only searched today on a whim and have found dozens of threads with Google. i'm using magic mice (?) on both an iMac and Macbook Pro, though for me it's an all-over system issue, not just Adobe. my finger sensitivity had gone though the roof but i never imagined it was a Sierra issue. that said, Sierra has been an overall disaster on both of my machines and i cannot stand it. now it's yet one more complaint on my list.
it's not a tracking issue at all, just the right-click/index finger sensitivity on the mouse overall. the lightest touch sends any window scrolling and i'm CONSTANTLY having to scroll back to a line of text, where i was on a Safari or Finder window, Messages, etc. it seems particularly annoying on many webpages where i need to fill out information in a text window--it gets even MORE sensitive there and trying to fix a spelling error or select some text to edit has gotten painfully ridiculous. i thought it was all in my head! as for Adobe, yes, i've had to turn off any "scroll to zoom" checkboxes since the object is in almost constant motion. good thing i don't have motion sickness--i know this would make my mom or sister puke if it happened to them! fwiw, i've had 10.12.1 from the day it came out and certainly hasn't helped a thing.
are there any Mouse apps that offer any more touch sensitivity options vs. Apple's tracking-only option? i've tried some in the past for extra options but could never remember them at all and often ran into too many conflicts to make them worthwhile, but i need a fix for this.
Happy Tgiving!!
