"Slide to Unlock" missing in iOS 10

Got my iPhone 6s upgraded to the new iOS10 and kind of liking it so far with few basic things missing which are really bothering me. ā€œSlide to Unlockā€, this was one inherited feature in iPhone since its inception. Pressing the Home button to unlock is not at all cool, and would reduce the life of solitary button in the device. Yes, I know, we can roll back to touch id unlock but what if I don’t use that either or my device don’t have a touch id. Can I request Apple (including John and Tim) to please give us an update soon which could have an option to get ā€œSlide to Unlockā€ back. I am sure there would be millions of people who are not liking this.

Awaiting for an update soon

Hello,

I understand all this and my question still stand tall as i would like to have an old feature back. I dont want to use touch id as that makes my phone restricted to my use. I don't think it is that difficult to enhance one feature and give it as one option soon.

This is a technical support forum so, it's not surprising that people see your post as a request for assistance. Apple, however is not reading here for feature suggestions. If that's what you're trying to do, here is not really the place. Use the feedback page:

Best of luck.
