Sep 24, 2016 12:12 PM in response to Mopawaby chris_g1,Welcome Mopawa,
Thanks for posting on the Apple Support Communities. I see that your Notes app is crashing on your MacBook Air using macOS Sierra. I know that the notes app is very useful. I will be more than happy to help get this fixed.
First, lets see if a third party app or service is causing problems. To do this you will want to boot to safe mode and test to see if it crashes. If it does not, then likely it will be an issue with a third party service.

Next to see if it is a system wide issue or a user issue, try testing the Notes app in another user account.

If it happens in the other user account as well, you will want to use Time Machine to back up your Mac and reinstall macOS.

Have a great weekend!

Oct 5, 2016 11:37 AM in response to Mopawaby vxworks,I have found a fix at: Notes keeps crashing in Sierra. Please help!
Fixed it! Unchecked iCloud Notes in Settings, opened Notes (blank), then checked iCloud Notes in Settings again. All synced and hopefully no more crashes!
And it works for me
