Photos?!

I had to reset and backup my current iPhone 5c my upgrade is next month so I'm trying to make it through, but as I was doing this two photos were blank white. I tried to push edit to see what message it would give me so the message said "cannot load photo". "There was an error loading this picture" , does that mean they are technically still there and are just not loading. I'm getting a new iPhone in October and I wanna know will the pictures show up there or not.
