Apps and iDevices MIA in iTunes

iTunes 12.5.1.21 seems to have eliminated a feature, or perhaps I am just going blind. How does one see the apps on an iDevice (or view its status)? Prior to this version I could just plug the device in, select it in the sidebar or via the pop-up device selector in the toolbar and see all my apps, along with their size and whether they were installed. I could sort by size, name, etc. I cannot find this feature.

Yes I found the Media Kind selector "conveniently" placed in the View menu so I was able to update my apps (rather than just, you know, simply selecting Apps from the sidebar, but change is the only constant...) but I cannot see a way to view any information about th device in iTunes. It is like iDevices are forgotten little third cousin in iTunes.

Yes I can sort of get all that data by swapping multiple screens in iOS, but it was much easier in iTunes. Was possible.

Help?

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), and a MacBook Apple user since 1980
