why steer clear of glass screen protectors?

HI ALL 🙂

Yesterday I put a question about screen protectors for my apple watch series 2 ,I bought on Wednesday thanks everyone 🙂

one thing though ,most were in the U.S.

and unobtainable in this country (u.k)

someone advised keeping clear of glass ?

what's wrong with glass ?

the ones I did see on various other internet sites were in the main,

of the film type construction,

and in my experience of this type on other pieces of equipment ,

all seem to suffer from " bubble syndrome"

very annoying !!

I appreciate peoples help ,

how can you alleviate bubbles?

Hi

Film-type screen protectors are typically able to cover a larger area of the screen, including curved edges.

Bubbles can be minimised through careful application, so be sure to follow the manufacturer's application instructions, which typically include gently pushing any bubbles away from the centre and towards the edges.

Skinomi, for example, advises that any remaining micro-bubbles should then disappear within 1-3 days.
