App store sign out in macOS Sierra

Since I have updated to macOS Sierra, there doesn't seem to be anyway to sign out of the App Store. I don't particularly want to stay signed in all of the time. Does anyone know of a way to sign out?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. After reading your post, I understand that you would like to be able to sign out of the Mac App Store--I definitely want to help make sure you can do that!

Per the following article, all you need to do is click on Store > Sign Out.
