lprpmd hogging CPU after Sierra upgrade

Hi all,

Since upgrading my MBP to Sierra, I've noticed there's a process called lprpmd that's constantly consuming over 90% CPU. It wasn't doing so before, and it means that whenever I run something else the fan's kicking in and disturbing the peace... Any ideas why this might be happening and how to fix it? (I've rebooted, but no difference).

Cheers,

Gary

I upgraded my MacBook Pro Retina 2015 to Sierra. Now it drains battery three times faster and gets really hot.
I found in "activity monitor" that a process, called lprpmd consumes 99% of the CPU. Killing it the battery consumption returns normal.
When I start again the Mac, the process lprpmd goes live again and it drains the battery. Any info about lprpmd?
