Q: Deleting more than 1 photo on my laptop

When I delete more than 4 photos in a row from my library, I am sent back to the very 1st photo of the library - causing me to have to return to where I was. What am i doing wrong or is this a bug in the system?

What version of he OS and of PHotos? Where are you deleting from (moments - a system album - a user album - a smart album - ???)? Exactly how are you deleting?

OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6
Photos version 1.5

I'm deleting in All Photos or Last Import. I delete by selecting the phone and hitting the DELETE button.
Shouldn't that work?
