iCloud photo is of my spouse.

When I look at either my iCloud account or my wife's iCloud account, it shows the photo of the same person. It might be my wife, but if I change it to me, both accounts have my photo. Then I change it to her, and both accounts have my photo. A couple of days ago I logged into her Mac's iCloud settings and changed the photo to her. Today, on my Mac, I see my ID has her photo. But when I look at iCloud settings in my iPad or iPhone it's a photo of me.

I clicked on Manage Family, and I see my wife as the organizer, with her ID and her photo. Family purchases use my ID. Below that I have two acounts, Howard Brazee - my regular ID and my iCloud ID. Both of these have the uncropped photo of my wife.

Why does iCloud get our photos confused?

It's not getting the photos confused. Somewhere, on some device, someone (either you or your wife) is logged in.

I'm not understanding. Sure we're logged in. I don't understand why when I go to System Preferences/iCloud and see my account with her photo. I can change it, but when she does the same thing with her account, it will have my changed photo.

Hmmm, I just checked https://www.icloud.com/#settings. It has my photo, but it doesn't have my icloud account, it has my iTunes account.

Are you using the same Apple ID? Do you have 2 different cards set up in Contacts?

Interesting. I went to my wife's Contacts - and it had the little head next to my face. I went to her Systems Preference/Users & Groups/Contact Card, and it opened *my* contact. I went to my computer's contacts and edited my contact. I went to edit the profile picture, and see two photos that I can select. One of those photos is labeled "fruux". My contacts are on https://fruux.com/contacts/, so that we can share our contacts. That costs extra money but may be the cause of our problem. We need the same set of contacts.
