Q: Photos sort by date in Sierra

I am working on a shared Album. I have photos of my own and photos posted by someone else in the Shared Album. I have imported the other person's photos so I can edit them.

 

I want to sort all the photos by time and date taken. The only "option" is "Keep Sorted by Oldest Date Added". Option is in quotes because it is grayed out and there are no other options.

 

MacBook Pro. Sierra.

there are no other options with shared albums - they are only sorted by the date photos are added to the album

    Thanks. I put in a request. The sort seemed so basic that I assumed I was missing it.

     

    I can also see that most of the time clocks are wrong on cameras and they don't line up anyway. But I adjusted the other camera's Date And Time to be correct (mine was iPhone so was right, but the other camera was her local time which was three hours off from where we were).
