How to optimize MBP for gaming

So I am trying to play games like Trainz 2, ETS2 and ATS on my Mid-2014 13" MBP with a 2.6 Ghz i5 Dual-Core and Intel Iris 1536 graphics with 8 GB RAM and 128GB Flash Storage. For my truck simulators, I run them on Wine which supports only 32-bit. How can I optimize this medium-end laptop to game better? Please give me the most specific details. Thank you.
