How to turn on silent mode for iPhone 7 plus??

Question

Hi, it's my first time using iPhone,

I searched online but no luck of finding how to mute my phone...

anyone happens to know??

The mute switch is along the edge, near the volume up/down buttons. Move button to orange to silence phone.

Tap Settings > Do Not Disturb then toggle either Manual or Scheduled ON.

When Do Not Disturb is on, you'll see a in the status bar. There are two ways to turn Do Not Disturb on or off:

If Do Not Disturb isn't want you meant, tap Settings > Sounds the turn Vibrate on Silent ON,
