Q: Mac mini, microphone, speaker?

Does the Mac mini have a speaker, and microphone, so one can ask it to play your playlist?

It has a very small internal speaker. It outputs very poor quality and really is meant for alert sounds.

It does not have a mic.

 

You can get a USB mic and PC speakers with 3.5 mm plug.

You can also use a headset with a single 3.5 mm plug that has earphones and a mic lke the ones that came with iPhones previous to the iPhone 7

You can also get a USB webcam since those have built-in mics
