Q: Flash player no longer works after safari 10

Help! Flash Player no longer functions after update to Safari 10 on 9-22-16. Its needed for my childs home schooling.... How can i fix this? I have reinstalled flash, restarted, cleared out safari etc and it still does not work. Any SWF just downloads instead of popping into a player window.

If you installed the Adobe Flashplayer correctly and for the first time into Safari 10, you must enable it in the Safari Preference panel : Security : Internet Plug-ins : √ Allow Plug-ins (Plug-in Settings...). In the settings panel, you will see a place to check Adobe Flash Player, and a selection (When visiting other websites: On. Then click done. Quit, and restart Safari.

 

Does that work in restoring Flash Player functionality?

    Yes! That solved the problem! Thank you so very much... Just a simple Change of When Visiting other Websites: to ON. Fixed.
