I have an iPod touch that is proof. 8 years old that I purchased for my fiancee. She passed away 6 years ago and I am trying now to upload more music. It asks for her userID which I don't remember. Is there a way to change the user ID to mine without losing the songs that the two of us downloaded?

iPod touch, watchOS 2.2.1

Purchases are locked to the ID that purchased them.

If you have a copy of her death certificate Apple may be able to help you
