Internet accounts on iOS

On a Mac, you can add internet accounts (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) and select which aspects of their info can be integrated into the system (i.e. Contacts, Calendar, etc). I can't seem to find how to do this on iOS. It seems bizarre that macOS can pull info into Contacts from LinkedIn but iOS can't. Am I missing something?

You manage accounts as already described. Apple only supports a limited amount of account types. So if Facebook or LinkedIn do not use 'standard' contacts or calendar server accounts then you can't add them (e.g. CardDAV, CalDAV or Exchange servers etc).

You should examine the account settings for Facebook & LinkedIn, perhaps they have features that need to be enabled in their settings on their sites.

Apple integrate Facebook into iOS but I don't know if that includes contact syncing. See the Facebook settings in Settings App.

Ask Apple to include LinkedIn support if you want that in iOS…

Hello!

Managing the preferences for your Calendar are handled within the Settings rather than directly within the Calendar app. To manage the accounts that are synced to Calendar, go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts. From there, you will see a list of all currently associated accounts, and an option that reads "Add Account". Tap on "Add Account" and you will see a list of available providers including iCloud, Exchange, Google, Yahoo!, Outlook and Other.

You may apply the same process to link accounts to your contacts. Simply go to Settings > Contacts > Accounts. You will see the same list of Internet accounts when you tap on "Add Account".

All of the aforementioned steps may be applied to Notes as well as Reminders.

Best of luck to you!
