Problem Printing to Basic HP Printer

Hi,

I have a second printer HP1109. Very basic, but I want as a backup. My main printer can be connected directly to the Mac or to the Extreme and I can print. This unit I can only print when directly connected to the Mac, it won't print when connected to the Extreme and that means I can't print from an iOS device (using PrimePrint or Printer Pro).

Any ideas?
