Q: Why Does Logic Pro 9 keep quitting/crashing unexpectedly?

I wonder if you can help?

I produce music and just this recently I upgraded to OSSierra and then recently opened up logic pro, went to click save  and it keeps crashing and it did the same when I tried to reopen another project on the software as well. I even imported an audio file that I needed to edit and even when I clicked "Import Audio file" it just quitted within a second and then the message pops up saying "Logic Pro quitted unexpectedly." It then gave me the option of reopening it or just clicking ok. Logic Pro started to crash on and off periodically recently with the spinning wheel appearing quite abit and there had been times when I startup the program at about halfway when loading it stops and the spinning wheel starts.

What could be going on and could there be any bugs or something like that that could be causing it to crash?
