Magic Mouse 2 - slow tracking

Hello,

I have a magic mouse 2 connected via bluetooth to a Macbook pro (13in, early 2015). My problem is the cursor tracks way too slow across the screen. I have obviously set the "tracking speed" at the fasted setting possible (under system preferences/mouse) and it's still way too slow. Most of the time when I'm navigating up/down or across the screen, I have to actually pick up the mouse to move it. It's the slowest mouse I have ever encountered in my life. The external Mac trackpad and the internal trackpad on the Macbook work perfectly, there is only a problem when using the mouse. And just to be clear, there are no other problems other than it tracks too slowly.

I was using a third party program to speed up the mouse but it will no longer work since I have installed Sierra. Does anyone know of a reasonable way to speed up the mouse tracking more? I hate to say it, but I'm almost ready to buy a new 3rd party mouse because this one is so incredibly slow.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
