Q: iMovie Preview Upside Down...

Can't figure out why the preview for my imported videos start right side up but when you scroll through the videos it flips upside down. The playback is normal and the preview without scrolling over it is normal but when I scroll across the video it flips over. I've tried deleting the videos closing iMovie and reimporting them without any success. Anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it?

    Hi,

     

    iMovie 9 is not entirely compatible with El Capitan.  Several anomalies have been reported, although I have not seen

    the upside down issue mentioned.   Still, there is no question that there are compatibility problems with iM9 and El Capitan, and I suspect that your issue may be one of them.  Upgrading to latest version iMovie 10.1.2 should solve it.  You still can keep iM9 on your computer together with iM10. According to the literature, your iM9 projects will be readable and editable in iM10.  (Some people have reported some trouble with that, however.)
