Q: Seeing Photos in iMovie
Basically, when I open my iMovie to work on a project, I cannot access all the videos that are in Photos. It shows up as a library but there is nothing in it, and I can't import anything directly from Photos. What am I doing wrong?

If you have more than one Photos library, make sure that iMovie is connected to the correct one.
You can try these three commonly used trouble shooting procedures:
- Delete preferences by restarting your computer, and launching iMovie while holding down the option and command keys. Then select the delete preferences option in the resulting dialogue box.
2. Try launching iMovie in a different user account. You can use your guest account for this purpose.
3. Try creating a new project and copy/pasting into it the media from your current project. Or, start over from scratch.
If nothing works, try creating a new library and working out of that one.
You always have the option of putting photos from your Photos app into a desktop folder, and then dragging them into iMovie from there.
Trouble shooting can be time consuming until you hit on the right solution. Hang in there.
