Photos are bot synced to icloud from my Iphone

I Have Iphone 6s and for quie a while, all photos taken with my phone are not synced to Icloud. Pictures taken from my ipad are still Synced.

I have all settings turned on for syncing, enough battery, wifi connected but still no photos are synced. I have also upgraded my icloud account to ensure i have enough space for syncing all my photos.

this is a huge problem, because i utake quite a lot of pictures, and I would like t have a backup, and at the same time be able to see my photos on my mac and ipad as well,

please help me. Thanks

Assuming you are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all your devices, your next step would be to turn iCloud photo library off and the back on again on your phone to try and restart the syncing process.

I Have tried several times, but it aleays says that it will start backing up when restore is completed. And it is not possible to stop the restore process because ut is not actually running.

YEs i have tried but it says that it will start baking up as soon as the current restore is completed. But there is no restoring in progress......

OK... Backing up and syncing the iCloud Photo Library are 2 different things.

If you are currently restoring, you need to wait until that is complete, or restart your phone to reset the restore.

it is not restoring......it is the status that is stuck, and because of that i cannot backup or sync anything. And since my photolibrary on the phone is now getting quite big, I cannot do a backup to my computer either, due to i sufficient space. I am getting quite desperate here. I have enough space in Icloud, but i cannot sync or backup my device to it.

Ok, but your phone thinks it is restoring.

You are not going to win a debate with your phone.

Restarting your phone to reset the process it is hung up on seems your only option.
