My Photos does not automatically import my iPhone fotos to my mac OS X sierra

Question

When I plugin my iPhone 6 into my mac Fotos does not automatically start importing the new fotos.

Any idea. Have around 16000 fotos in my library.

OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
