Q: iOS 10 has bricked my iPhone 5

Hi, I wonder if anyone else has had a similar problem.  I've been on to Apple Support Chat for over 8 hours over the last 2 days and my phone just keeps getting worse and worse.  It all started when my phones was perfectly fine and I updated from iOS 9.3.5 to iOS 10.0.1.

My phone started to freeze whenever I was in Messages, it prompted me for passwords for Apps that I do not have, it would not recognise the passwords for my e-mail accounts and in the end, froze to a point where it simply would not operate.  I contacted Apple Support Chat, they talked me through backing out iOS 10.0.1 back to iOS 9.3.5.  They did not tell me to do a back up or anything.  When I did this I lost 22 Apps and all my Messages history from Messages and all the other Apps with messaging facilities.

I ended up being passed to a Senior Advisor and instructed to go back to iOS 10.0.1.  The problems all returned.  I then went back to Apple Support Chat for another 6 hours and 4 advisors ( 2 Senior ones), and a couple of hours screen sharing with a Senior Advisor who could not solve the issues, and now my phone has been back and forward from 9.3.5 - 10.0.1 (and now to 10.0.2) and I have lost just about everything, Messages, Contacts, Photos - the phone is totally blank.

I have virtually all the available memory to go at but when I try to restore a back up from iTunes I get a message that there is not enough memory capacity on the phone!  - How can this be ..?

Please, if you're reading this and haven't gone to iOS 10 the DON'T.  Go and get a phone that works just like mine used to do !!!
