Q: bookmark folder

During the installation of the last update, my Bookmark folder disappeared.  Even Time Machine doesn't show it.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

There is no Bookmark folder, that is why you can't find it. Safari uses a Bookmarks.plist file that is located in your local Library : Safari folder. If the Bookmarks.plist file is not present, try looking for it from Time Machine in that folder location.

I found the Safari library p.lists, but I'm not able to just put them in a new folder.  Slowly I'm getting the addresses and then adding to a new Bookmarks folder.  When I finish, I'll backup the new folder to a flash drive.

I don't like change; my Safari on this iMac worked just fine.  In a year or so I plan to get a new iMac.
