Is there a way to remove Facebook birthdays from my phone's calendar without removing my contacts' birthdays?

I’m using iOS 11.2.1, and cannot remove Facebook contacts from my iPhone contacts list and I cannot remove the birthdays of individuals on my calendar. I never authorized Facebook app to do this.. I don’t feel secure that Apple iOS allowed this in the first place. Please help!!!!

I have the same issue. I am in iOS 11.2.6, and there are no options for the removal. I have been searching how to do this for quite some time with no resolution - deleted messenger, etc. It is very annoying!

I have this same problem, and the solution they posted above does not work - there is no option in Settings, Facebook, etc.

Thanks for posting your question in the Apple Support Community! I understand you don't want to see all of your Facebook friend's birthdays in your calendar. I can understand how that can be a a nuisance, especially if you have a lot of friends to manage. I'm happy to provide some help.

You can turn this feature off by going to Settings > Facebook. On that page you should see toggle switches at the bottom for things like Calendar, Contacts, etc. Turn the Calendar off and that should remove the birthdays from your calendar on the iPhone. You can see more details here:
