My system OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6, i am on final cut pro 10.2.3. I am new here this is my first post. i created an album for a project i am doing. i can not see all the picture on the album i created on Photo to import on my project, i have search my media browser including, years, moments and the sub month. not all my pictures on Photo are appearing on my media browser. thanks

Try quitting Photos and relaunching FCP. It will not see updates made to Photos while the application is open.
thx, Tom i did that and it did not solve the issue, only a few pictures from photo are appearing on my media browser.
Are you using iCloud to store your photos? Only local files can be used for production.
i store photo on the iCloud but i am using and external hard drive to run FCP and my Photo are on the same drive.
I Don't understand your layout but you cannot store photos in iCloud for use in FCP.
i store photo on the iCloud but i turned off iCloud on the computer that i am using. Photo and FCP are both stored and run from the same external hard drive. i never had this problem before on iPhoto. my iPhoto is also on same external hard drive, all the photos from iPhoto are appearing on my media browser.... no problem. not all the pictures on Photo are appearing on they media browser. thx
i figured out the problem. my project is still in my computer not the external hard drive. how do i move my project to the external hard drive? thx
That should not be causing your problem.
Do you have multiple Photo libraries?

i don't think so, let me make sure all my photos are on my external hard drive photo library.
