I want to upgrade from El Capitan to Sierra but want to be sure Logic Express 9.1.8 runs on Sierra. I have a Mid 2011 iMac with 12 GB RAM. Has anyone had success with this?

Finder>Preferences>Sidebar and uncheck iCloud Drive item...
Logic Express has been working on Sierra ever since.
I am confused. If you are talking about Logic Express 9.1.8, it was the last version of Logic Express. Apple discontinued Logic Express 6 years ago in 2011 and replaced it with Logic Pro at the Apple Store. I could be wrong, but I don't believe any software company will continue to update software after it has been discontinued.
I went ahead & upgraded to Sierra but Logic Express 9.1.8 is constantly crashing bad...Finally got it to allow recording only to crash and lose it! Suggest waiting until they send updates...

Just to clarify after more testing, I'm having no problems recording using m-audio midi device but trying to record true audio through mixer or other interface is what's causing it to crash...
I installeer Sierra and now Logic Express crashes when saving a project. Don't do it!
Logic Express 9.1.8 will not load since I updated to Sierra. 😠
I have an early macbook pro, and had a problem after upgrading to Sierra 10.12.1. No sound output for LE. I did have sound output on internal speakers for iTunes, but that's it. I just downgraded back to El Capitain, and have yet to test...
Cool. 5 months with no update. Apple == "make money, more money, even more, customers are dumb"
Ah cool, I'll try that tomorrow. However, not publishing an update so the program works with "Minimum Lion" as the product page announces, tells enough about Apple's attitude.
