Q: How do I get my Cannon to scan?

I have a canon MX922,it is hooked up by USB and my imac cannot find the scanner.

It prints fine, but will not scan.

Not on IMAGE CAPTURE  or PREVIEW, need help please.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
