Why can I not add music to Up Next anymore?

This new update *****. The feature that I found important on the old update has been removed, the ability to create an Up Next queue. I don't see why you would get rid of that ability. Any explanations or something I'm not seeing to do it?

Also, the design itself *****, both on the app and desktop. It was better before.

To add songs to your Up Next queue you need to Force Touch the song you want to add to the queue and select Play Next. The song will be added to your Up Next queue and will play right after the currently playing song ends. What you may or may not find in the Force Touch menu is the Play Letter option that replaced the Add to Up Next option on previous versions. Whatever you add to the queue as Play Next will literally play next unless you rearrange it once on queue. Some have reported getting the Play Later option in some instances and then it goes away. Me, I haven't seen it even once. Hope this helps. User uploaded fileUser uploaded file

Looking at your image I can see why Play Later puts the song at the end of the queue... but hey, at least you're getting the Play Later option. I haven't been that lucky, although I really have no use for the song to be added at the very end of the Up Next queue anyways.

Note that to be able to rearrange songs you need to have the repeat option disabled. For some reason it's on by default.

I just really wish the new music app was more like the one on iOS 9...
