Destination widget

the destination widget doesn't appear to work. It's always telling me my car is 5 yards away. If I open the map app, it has the correct location of my car, but the widget has stopped updating. Is there a setting I have switched by mistake which will stop it updating?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10

Greetings Deanjs1991,

From your post I can tell that you are experiencing issues with the Destination widget not updating the current location of your car. I know it's important to have accurate information reflected in the destination widget. I'll be happy to provide some information on this.

What I'd like to have you try is to go to Settings > Maps. Scroll down to the 'Your Car' section, and toggle the 'Show Parked Location' switch to off and then simply restart your iPhone then go back and turn the 'Show Parked Location' switch on and test to see if the location has updated.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
