Some digital copies of movies not showing up in Purchased Movies

I have many digital copies of movies in my iTunes library but won't show up in the Purchased Movies section on my Apple TV. What I want to know is whether or not there is a way to get them to show up, and if there is, how do I accomplish this? I'm aware that a workaround would be to stream AirPlay from my device to the AppleTV, but shouldn't the all of the files just show up in Purchase Movies?

I would appreciate any information that might help me get my movies on the purchased list as they should be.

Why should they show up, they aren't purchases from the iTunes Store. You don't need to AirPlay them, use home sharing instead.

They would only show up if they were redeemed using an iTunes code.

I actually did use the iTunes code that came with the Blu-ray. The movies downloaded just fine into my iTunes on my computer, but only some of them show up when I look at the list on my Apple TV. That's what I find so strange about this...

I actually used a redeem code from the Blu-ray that would download the movie file into my iTunes. The movies made there way into iTunes on my computer just fine, but only some of them show up when I look at the purchased list on my Apple TV. I don't know... it's seems a bit odd.

Did you check on any other device? Are they still available in the iTunes store?
