iPhone 7 screen frozen

Hi

I've had to do this several times over the last weeks. Also, whenever i receive a message it pops up on the screen as it should. After reading the message the pop-up should disappear, however an empty message box just stays on the locked screen until i restart the whole phone. Anyone else got this problem? Photo attached.

This is happening with my iPad, my home button doesn’t work, and when I get it to work it only takes screenshots and summons Siri, I’ve put it on charge but I don’t know what to do, it has the exact same symptoms as asked by the original asker, it’s important that I get it working as I have irreplaceable items on it, photos etc. Please help!!

My iPhone 6 Plus is frozen on one application and will not respond to the hard reset commands (holding the button on the right side and the volume down button on the left side). What can I do beyond that step to get my phone to shut off/restart?

Because the home button on the iPhone 7 isn't actually a physical button, you'll need to hold down the Volume Down button instead of the home button along with the Sleep/Wake button to force restart.

OMG thank you so much! I didn't realize that you had to hold down the Volume down button with the Sleep/Wake button instead of the home button.

My phone didn't work for like 8 hours but when I did this it totally fixed the problem! Thank you!!!!!!!!!
