Either The songs I bought from iTunes or imported from DVDs don't show lyrics. I used custom lyric but not working. It works sometimes. But it's gone again when I sync my iPhone.
i think iOS 10.0.1 and 10.0.2 both need a bug fix.

I have this problem too. It doesn't happen on all my music, but oddly on some songs that I have edited to include additional features and sounds. It usually works when I first sync my phone, but not after. Once in awhile if I make major changes in the lyrics it will show up again, but I am guessing that once synced the original stays for awhile.
I also notice that this is a music file I use a LOT and so I wonder if that also has an impact on the durability of the lyrics staying there.
At least they are still in iTunes.

I have the same problem. My custom lyrics show up in iTunes, but not consistently on my iPad. I've deleted all my music and resynced it, but am still having this problem. 😠 I worked really hard inputting all this!
