qwertyuio not working

Dear all,

My MacBook Air 'qwertyiou' keys have decided not to work from time to time.

I've had it for 3 years already so no under warranty anymore.

What are the possible solutions for this very annoying issue?

Hello mdp14,

I understand that you are unable to use some of the keys on your keyboard. Let's go over what you can to help isolate the issue.

Start with taking a look at the article below. It will show you how to enable the keyboard viewer to see what happens when you press the key. It will also have you try the keyboard from the installation disk or Recovery HD.
